I compared mysticism with our modern life of consumerism, social media and wellness culture. I found the most fascinating part being how creative people can be at making their wish come true.
Before modern science we have invented countless sacred objects and complicated rituals. Today the process of wish-making has been flattened into a digital icon with simple gestures on digital screens.
It seems that In our times everyone can invent a parody religion as long as they get what they want. It has become extremely pragmatic.
In these cards of lucky magic I selected 10 magic rituals from the past, and then defined 10 rituals from modern life, of which the cult quality of the actions is highlighted and expanded in a slightly sarcastic way.
